The dingbat voters of my riding have given birth to a lame duck. If we had gotten the NDP candidate elected, here, at least we would have had some leverage, but we went with the losing team. (35+% vs. 33+%, in the riding.)
This is particularly galling, because the Rainy River area is a traditional NDP stronghold that was shoehorned into the Thunder Bay riding in a blatant case of Liberal gerrymandering some years ago.
PS Conservatives suck, too. If Mr. Harper starts tripping down to Washington to kiss ass and lick boot, then I hope every who voted for this shlub realizes that "getting the Grits out" does not have to include sticking your tongue in a light socket.
